Things that were discussed while on the elliptical and treadmill at the gym today
- Vaccinations and people who choose not to have their kids vaccinated. Seis was particularly fired up about this one so it was quite an interesting conversation. I didn't say much because after two weeks of barely going to the gym I could hardly breathe, much less talk.
- HPV vaccination. You know even if your sweetie pie is going to stay "pure" until she is betrothed, what about the ho bag she marries? I promise you, if they had a shot for boys Punkin would be getting it immediately. He's his daddy's boy, after all.
- How I really don't like genital warts and would be fine telling Punkin that if he really wanted to know why he needed the vaccination.
- Glimmering teal eyeshadow which is about an inch thick really looks odd while you are working out. Obviously some people come to the gym looking to do more than work out. Or maybe it is just a different type of workout they are looking for.
- That saliva is a spermicide and that supposedly doggy style is the way to go if you are hoping to conceive a boy. I have a boy, but got him the old fashioned, missionary way. Ruff, ruff.
- Not all hubbys constantly ask for blow jobs. I didn't realize this species of man existed and think that he should probably be immediately sent to a lab somewhere for further examination. Mine asks for blow jobs morning, noon, night, while he is sleeping, etc, etc.
- Whether or not the people on the track are
laughing atwatching the people working out in the pool below them. Seis thinks they are because her freaky ass does it. I think they are all looking at the chick with the teal eyeshadow and not noticing the old ladies in the pool. - How this trip to the gym was providing tons of blog fodder. I think all of the above could be stand alone posts, but I'm too tired to do anything but bullet points today. It's been a hell of a week so far.

Boy that's some good stuff! I could comment on SO much of this.
HPV vaccination? I wish they had one for boys - my son would be getting one. And yes, genital warts make me gag. Just typing that makes me gag.
Teal eyeshadow is a world of bad.
Saliva is spermicide? Umm . . . I don't know I'd rely on drool to prevent pregnancy. Moreover, I don't know what position I was in that conceived our boy. I don't even know which "event" conceived our boy, much less which position.
Men who don't like blowjobs? I've never heard of that.
And I don't like staring at people who are swimming because it's always people who shouldn't be in Speedos who are wearing them.
I am soo glad that I could provide some amusement. I have been really depressed today, because I realized I am more judgemental than I thought. At lest about the whole Shots thing. I am going to try to be more open minded.
My hubby doesn't like bjs. Teal eye shadow went out in 1984. And, it's more about sex and exactly where you are ovulation wise. The closer to peak day the more likely it will be a boy. I know. I did my charting for years to ENSURE I got a boy. And, that would be via the old missionary way. We're conventional.
i cannot WAIT to see what kind of google hits you get from this one.
i dont know anyone who doesn't like blow jobs either. that, of course, doesn't mean they're gonna GET one.....
Why can't my gym conversations be as entertaining as this? If they were, my time would certainly go by faster there! My hubby has never asked for a bj either. I didn't know there were men who did all the time! I guess I learned my something new for today. Haha! And my husband is convinced we got a girl because he "flooded the market".
Okay the above comments make me jealous. Hubby always asks for a BJ. This I believe BEGAN as my fault cause I offered one to him a LONG tme ago and guess he liked it since he is always asking for one.
I know i was on my peak day when I got preggo. I just had the WORST urge to "get it on". I read that happens on that day. Hence a boy.
The HPV shot. I never got one. I am not against it I just never felt I needed it.
I'm coming to the gym with y'all!
Your workout conversations are way more entertaining than mine.
Good thing I'm not your workout buddy, or else you'd have no blog fodder... Because I'd be way too out of breath to say anything!
Glad you are still going to the gym. I too am with those who didn't know there was a man who did not want BJs. I see from the comments there actually are men like that! I just can't believe it!
I also appriciate providing you with gym blog fodder! There are just waaaay to many peeps in the gym to not talk about them! ;) LOL Today, not so much, though. Just old ladies in bathing suits (and we we're not some of them cause we're hot...ha ha). We had to create our own.
Oh, and I do not have to have a boy... but it would be nice, I never liked blue eye shadow and my DH said he likes BJ's but is just warm up for the real thing ;)
Man, I need to workout with you guys! Ok, ok, I need to workout period, but that is neither here nor there.
I think if you are wearing glimmering teal eyeshadow anywhere you are probably looking for a different kind of workout. No offense to those that have teal eyeshadow or anthing.
A man that doesn't like blowjobs? My husband seems to think the world will somehow end if he doesn't get one.
Shit, I wish they had birth control for boys. My son would be on it in a minute. Why let some skeezy girl get herself knocked up because she is too stupid to follow the directions on her pill pack? Then I never get to see my grandkids bc she moves out of state to spite my son? Fuck that.
As for vaccination thing, I guess I'd better keep my mouth fairly shut. I find it interesting that so many people who bitch about non-vaxers haven't the slightest clue as to delayed vaxing or selective vaxing. How it works, what the pros and cons are. They just assume that anyone who doesn't blindly follow their doctor's schedule is crazy. If you think about our own vax schedule from when we were kids--you can get into interesting conversations. Provided the person is willing to have a conversation and not just preach at you--and that goes for BOTH sides of the argument. My mom was shocked to see the vax schedule from the years I was a kid to what my kids are "required" to have now. She couldn't believe it.
I am with Seis! And there is no reason why she should not pass judgement. It is a serious topic and saves countless lives. Not to mention, those who do not vaccinate are relying on your kid. Too not vaccinate could be a deadle gamble...and I don't play life on full tilt. ;)
I cannot imagine a husband who doesn't like bj's. What the damn hell? How is that even POSSIBLE?
You have MUCH more fun at the gym than I do!
I have some Bloggy Love for you over at Memoirs of a Mommy
Not only is saliva spermicide, it has antibacterial properties as well. Personally, I think if we were all vaccinated with saliva, all disease would end. It cures everything!!
And I didn't think twice about getting the HPV vaccine for my 13 year old daughter. She got all three, didn't die from them and hasn't even become sexually active yet!! I love vaccines!! Anything my children can get a vaccine for, I'm there!! Let's prevent disease; that's why God gave us brains!!
A man that doesn't always want a BJ? Show me this man...I don't believe that he exists!
A man who doesn't ask for BJ's 24/7? I'll make a trade!
Your gym sounds like too much fun.
