Life in the Fish Bowl

welcome

Fun Monday

The lovely Lady K is our hostess this week. Here's our assignment:

In the spirit of the season I would like to see your favorite Christmas tree ornament. Not to be confused with the WHOLE tree. I want you to zoom in and show me one or a few(you know I can't choose just one!) of your favorite ornaments. If you don't decorate a tree, show me your menorah or dreidel, Kinara, or Yule Log. I want to see your favorite decoration for this holiday season.

Yeah for another easy one this week. I'm big into Christmas so I had a lot of ornaments to pick from, most with some type of sentimental value. I chose this one because it is the one we got when Punkin was born. He was only a few months old that Christmas, but it was one of the best Christmases ever. I think, however, that this one just might just top it. Could time move any slower?

Boy, this was short. That's quite an accomplishment for me!!!

FIRST!!

I like that one, too. Our boys are getting too old on us. This is his 4th & SDs 3rd...how did that happen!?

I love that one. It's similar to the one I just got Audrey for her 1st Christmas!

Sooo sweet, do our kids know how crazy we are about them? (How crazy they make US in general?).

Seems like a precious, perfect choice for today's post....I admire peeps who are able to post just ONE picture :).

That'a a cute one. I'm trying to find Saoirse's first Christmas ornament but it seems to have disappeared from the tree.

That has to be the best "1st Christmas" ornament I have ever seen - just precious. I don't have one for my kiddo - one thing I totally blanked on! Too cute!

I would have guessed that ornament much older than 2004. I love it.

That is gorgeous. I wish I'd thought ahead for Miss E and M's so they had something that special. I mean, theirs are cute, but in a, 'Mummy didn't really think about it till the special ones were all gone' sort of way.

Your ornament is very sweet...what nice memory. For this Monday, short was good. The post were quick to write and to read.

Dude, I didn't even unpack mine this year. I bought two pack of shatterproof bulbs for LittleBird to put up and we were done. I will break out the "good" stuff next year. LOL

I love his 1st Christmans ornament! It is precious!

Unfortunately, I don't have any of my special ornaments on our tree this year. I have my big tree and all my special ornaments in storage as we are in temporary housing that is much smaller than our previous house. So, I just bought a tall, thin prelit tree that will fit in a small space (luckily on sale 1/2 off last week at Hobby Lobby) and a few boxes of ornaments since we are still trying to find the "perfect" house for us here in CO.

I agree, Christmas gets only better as the little kids get bigger and realize all what Christmas is all about.

I don't have any keepsake ornaments (not store-bought ones, anyway) but there is a lovely one bearing the likeness of my baby girl, made at school, that I keep at my workspace. I'll take a picture someday soon and post it. It's a beee-yute!

That is a great ornament. My electricity went off yesterday so I am just now seeing your post. The child ornaments will always be the best. Keep collecting them, one a year if possible.
