Fun Monday #12

Hootin' Anni is our Fun Monday hostess this week. She wants us to
take 30 GIANT STEPS - IN ANY direction. You may have to make a few turns and pivots so you won't run into any walls or such...don't want any injuries today! WARNING: Avoid any obstacles in the way. After the 30 giant steps, Stop! TAKE A PHOTO AND/OR NOTE WHAT YOU'RE SEEING!! Then, take 15 baby steps back. After the 15 baby steps, Stop! TAKE A PHOTO AND/OR NOTE WHAT YOU'RE SEEING.
Thirty giant steps from where I normally sit with the laptop takes me out into my front yard. I've already posted a pretty similar pic, but looking straight out. This time I grace you with the view to the right
Fifteen small steps and here you are You know, I really think my big steps were bigger than my small steps were small.

Before I could run back in the house before anyone saw me (you don't think I actually got dressed to take these pics do you? I'm sick today and don't plan on getting dressed all day!), this little man made an appearance

wanting a banana. Which I had hidden from him the night before. Hmmmm....guess I don't hide things as well as I thought I did. But I'm sick, cut me some slack, ok?

So that's my Fun Monday. It was nice to do one I didn't have to think about very much. This mommy brain is overloaded just remembering to get up every morning, much less having to actually think about a Fun Monday post.

Go on over to Hootin' Anni's place and check out the rest of the Fun Mondays. See ya next time....

Well a banana is way better than the sugary stuff my children would be looking for!

Man? He won't leave you alone for two minutes to take a picture :) !! The last time you posted your house, I was thinking your brick was more pink, but you've got the true reddish one that I like more. Oh, and because you know I'm such a bitch I'm gonna ask, "How many times have you busted your ass on the front steps???"

I love the view from your home but the view looking toward your home is even better! What a cutie!

I am worried about that child falling down those steps! You are a good woman, for still participating while sick!

Great neighborhood. :) Love how the little guy's face shows that he is asking, "Moooom, can I have this?" Or maybe he's saying, "Hey MOM, I found it! You can't fool me"

Looks like you live in a beautiful neighborhood.

And hey - at least it was a banana and not a bag of M&M's (left over Halloween candy) that my daughter has managed to drag out and beg for every single day.

Nice diggs in your neck of the woods :). If I had gone outside (in the direction opposite of where I chose), I would've been in the middle of our garage...that wouldn't have been pretty.

At least he wanted a HEALTHY snack ;). And by now, I hope you ARE feelin' better!

I love brick houses. They were practically non-existent in the area I grew up in so of course I craved them.

Your little guy is too cute.

What a nice neighbourhood. I like brick homes. I don't have one but I sure do like them.

A very beautiful mature looking neighbourhood. A very nice entrance you have, and a little banana toting cutie. I sure hope you are feeling better soon. Don't want the neighbours thinking your dipping into the bottle and not getting out of pj's for that reason.

Don't be hiding bananas from that sweet baby :)

Wow, red brick! You never see that in Alabama (typed as I sit in my red brick house surrounded by countless red brick houses!)

Pretty, pretty house!

Feel better.

What a pretty house you have!

somehow I am reminded of the big bad wolf -- who will blow and blow and blow "your house down"

but, that is a solid brick house, so your little banana boy will be safe there for sure!!
