Haiku Friday

Haiku Friday

My head is splitting
Were there a toddler remote
I'd hit mute button.

Hubby's finally home
Now volume's on twenty
Wish he had a clue.

Say oblivious.
So simple. It's just the one word
To describe hubby.

and of course, what you came for....

He sneaks to potty
Takes first poopie without me.
I feel so left out.

Oblivious describes most men I think. Mine definitely.

Sorry to hear punkin did the big one without you. But really, imagine if he was still dragging you to the toilet at 16. Not so cute looking at his poopies then!

1. I love School House Rock. I use it in my classroom. Hooray!

2. I hate that your head was splitting. Oh if there was only a mute and a freeze frame as well. I think I would have hit both buttons last night when Buddha was hanging from HG's shoulder while HG was attempting to eat Chinese food.

There's my girl. I thought you were ignoring the poop haikus this week...

Glad you're not.

Wonderful, by the way.

Yay BM. All men are oblivious. We keep them around despite this?
Oh, and way to poop solo Punkin! Did he wipe well without you?

All men are oblivious- particularly when there is a TV in the mix.

So far today I have read haiku about maggots and poop. Isn't Haiku Friday the best??

I need a mute button for my whole family.

Thanks for another poop Haiku!!

Poopie in the potty?!?! That's awesome. Try to focus on the fact that it's one step closer to being diaper free.

Oblivious is the perfect word for Randy. You are a true genius. Wonderful job on haiku Friday! I hope your head is better today.

I love how you incorporated a headache and poopie all into haiku...a true artist you are! ;-)

Hope the headache goes away.

And of course, I got so carried away with the haiku, I forgot the main reason I came by. Wanted to let you know I did a follow-up post today and replied to a comment you left me about Fun Monday...

I have no poop 'ku
To share with you all today
Did I let you down?

It could have been worse. The poop could have had maggots in it.

Amen on the toddler remote...

Great 'kus!

If only there were the mute button, even for the ones we love. Sanity would be much easier to come by, right?

Ah, the greatness of loud toddlers when we have a headache. Sigh.

And why is it our hubbies can be even louder?

mmm....a mute button....that sounds great...i need one o' them....

hope your headache goes away...and you get to see poop #2 (get it...#2? ya...i'm not that funny!)

Amen on that mute button.

My boys call poop Number 3, because you can't poop without peeing. Number 1 and Number 2 equals Number 3. When did they get so clever?

Oh, my little one shouts for the world to hear, "Wanna see my poopie!" Of course, that wouldn't help the headache...!

Why do the men need the TV on like, volume 50?? The baby's sleeping upstairs!!

Crackers.

Thanks for the poop fix. Now onto this toddler remote idea - you have GOT to patent that (and get it working too of course). Great ku!

How sad that he took his first poopie without you. I just feel SO LEFT OUT when stuff like that happens!

Not that it does much any more. My youngest is 13.

Hey, but we're still reading to him at night! YAY!

Hijack away! My email addy is not posted because I had some issues a while ago with a blog stalker.

But if we become bloggy friends, I will give it to you if you want it. :-D
