Our host this week is Candid Karina. Our assignment is to share our security blankets, the items that we can't leave home without.Damn if Fun Monday isn't a struggle for me every week! If it wasn't so much fun reading everyone else's and I wasn't such a follower, I'd just bail. But it is and I am so here goes.
I don't really have a security blanket. Never did as a child either. It's funny because neither does Punkin. Not a blanket or a particular toy. He never even took a pacifier. But things I can't leave home without? Now those I have plenty of.
Since Punkin is potty trained we really don't do the diaper bag thing anymore. Sure, we keep one in the car - just in case - but we don't carry it in anywhere with us. So I'm back to using a normal purse -
I also have to have my little planner - purse size, of course - and my most important possession, my credit card for daily expenses.
My cell phone. I like red. Sue me. 
No key photos because, SURPRISE!! I can't find them. But if I had my keys I'd be off with this sweetie

Because I, dear readers, am blind as a damn bat!!!! Purse, credit card, planner, car - none of these would do me a bit of good without my contacts as I wouldn't be able to find any of them, even the car.That's it for me. Ha ha ha! Can't quite commit to technology eh? Most of us tech types would have photoshopped the details off the credit card rather than cutting strips of paper.
Me too....I can't see diddly squat while driving....in the distance anyway. [did you find your keys yet? I know just where they are... they're at the last place you put 'em. *giggles*]

I don't need anything. Seriously. I usually shove my keys into one pocket and my cell phone in the other. Which, by the way, is exactly the same as yours!! I like red; sue me!!!

I'm blind as a bat too, I'm in good company. :) And I can never find my keys either, that's why I leave them in the car. ;)
I love the strips of paper on the credit card! So much faster than trying to blur it out. Great post. I didn't mention my glasses because they are never off of my face except for sleep and shower.

Oh, PLEEEASE allow this lurker to explain the blue dot.
Remember the blue and red state maps plastered all over TV during federal election returns? You know, the ones indicating which states went Democrat (blue) vs. which went Republican (red)? Well, some libs in Alabama just couldn't take it that Alabama "went red"...uh...Republican. Sooo...they manufactured this cutsie little square red bumper/window sticker featuring a blue dot in the center. Beneath the dot it says, "another bright blue dot in a temporarily red state." Now libs all across America are joining the collective wah-wah-wah...
In my house, we refer to Democrats as simply "Blue Dots." And, it's not a term of endearment.
On MY car, the SOLID RED, sans-the-blue-dot "What dot?" sticker is proudly displayed. Yup. Those pesky blue dots are still the minority.

I don't have photoshop, either, so have to resort to strips of paper or Sharpie's to blot out what I don't want to broadcast on the WWW.

This was a tough one for me too. I used to wear acuvue...then I ran out so I wear my glasses.

This is the second red cell phone I've seen on Fun Monday and I love it! It was also interesting reading the commenter who explained the blue dot. Funny but interesting.
I have to admit, I love the blue dot! What it says to me is "I think for myself and I don't buy into anybody's line". Myself, I have a fish on the back of mine and inside the fish is "nchips". Get it???!! I bought it at a shop in Atlanta that caters to Wiccans and that makes it all the more appealing to me!!

And I'm REALLY jealous of a normal purse. Sure my diaper bag kinda RESEMBLES a purse (if you use vinyl purses that slip off your shoulder constantly) but it is NOT as much fun as a purse. *sigh*
